Physicians save lives.
But art makes life worth living.
We can help you connect the two…
Sophie began her interest in physician peer-coaching after struggling with her own career burn-out and balancing work demands with parenthood. Between the two, she had lost time, space, and energy for her own creative endeavors. She realized this vital loss had effects that spilled over into her personal relationships, her outlook and resilience regarding her work, and her overall sense of well-being.
She almost quit practicing medicine completely.
Rediscovering her connections with writing, with dance, and with art in general allowed her to rediscover internal values she had been ignoring. Using art as a pathway towards acknowledging personal values allowed her to redefine the way she practiced medicine, to find more joy and contentment with the work, and also with the people she loves.
She will complete her certificate in Physician Peer Coaching from the American College of Physicians in 2025, but she is happy to accept clients from any work discipline. She hopes she can help other people find their own pathways forward in medicine, or other fields, in ways that acknowledge their personal values and that foster a sense of joy and contentment in their daily lives and relationships.
